Bharath Genset Services ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what personal information we receive through this website, why we use it, and the choices you have. We follow the applicable laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Who we are

Bharath Genset Services is an authorised dealer for TATA Motors Gensets, with offices in Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) and Villupuram district near Puducherry (Pondicherry). Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.

2. What information we receive

• Enquiry details you send us: your name, phone number, town or place, what you need (for example a new DG set, service or AMC), your DG capacity or model, and any message you write.
• Calls, WhatsApp messages and emails you send to our numbers and email addresses, including your phone number or email address.
• Messages you send to our Instagram or Facebook pages, which we see with your public profile name.

We ask only for what we need to reply to you. Please do not send bank, card or password details to us.

3. How the enquiry form works

The form on our Contact page does not save your details on this website. When you press the button, it opens WhatsApp or your email app on your own phone or computer with your enquiry already typed. Your details reach us only when you press send there.

4. Why we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and give you a quotation.
• To arrange sales, installation, service, breakdown visits, AMC and spare parts.
• To follow up on the enquiry or service you asked for.
• To keep the records we need for accounts, warranty and legal reasons.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

5. Who we share it with

Only where needed to handle your request: our own team and field technicians, and where required for your request, the equipment manufacturer or its authorised support, or a service provider working for us. We may also share information if the law requires it.

WhatsApp and your email provider process your messages under their own privacy policies.

6. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics tools. Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp, email, Instagram and Facebook open outside this website and are governed by those services' own privacy policies. When you visit our Instagram or Facebook page, those services may collect information about you under their own terms.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, provide service and support, and meet our accounting, warranty and legal obligations. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

8. Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to staff who need it to help you.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@bharathgenset.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Children

This website is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
